Equipment Allocation Program

The Equipment Allocation Program (EAP) provides a range of standard stock self-care and mobility equipment for eligible people in NSW. The equipment is readily available for statewide delivery no matter where a person lives in NSW i.e. metropolitan, regional or rural areas. Clinicians should select equipment from EAP in the first instance before considering contract or purchase options.

The range of equipment includes beds, mattresses, bathing and toileting aids, transfer aids, slings, pressure cushions, power wheelchairs, manual wheelchairs, scooters, and walkers. Some equipment can be adjusted or has additional accessories available, and this information will be listed in the online catalogue.

For easy reference on the online catalogue, equipment within the standard stock range will have a green stock banner in the top right corner of the image.

No trials required

There is no need to arrange a trial with a local supplier or submit a quote when requesting equipment through the EAP. If you need assistance selecting equipment, please contact the Advisor on Call. At or after delivery, you will review the person using the equipment in their home as part of your usual follow up process.

Delivery timeframes

EnableNSW will continue to fulfil majority of requests from the EnableNSW Equipment Centre in Homebush, with some items being purchased from local contract suppliers for regional and rural areas. Delivery times may vary based on the items requested and location in NSW.

If you require more information, please refer to the frequently asked questions (FAQs) or contact the EnableNSW team.
