Cost of repairs

A contribution towards the cost of repairs (also known as a co-payment) may be required. The tables below provide guidance about these costs across our different programs.

Aids and Equipment Program & Home Respiratory Program

Banding Repair co-payment

Band 1-2

  • Child < 16 years old
  • Adult on full pension
  • Adult with income up to
    • $42,000 (single) + $2,100 per dependant
    • $70,000 (couple) + $2,100 per dependant
$100 per financial year the EnableNSW services (equipment or repairs) are accessed

Band 3

  • Adult with income greater than
    • $42,000 (single) + $2,100 per dependant
    • $70,000 (couple) + $2,100 per dependant
The first $800 per financial year towards repair costs. Tax invoices should be kept as evidence of this payment where the repair is arranged directly with supplier

Prosthetic Limb Service

Banding Repair co-payment

Band 1

  • People holding a valid Pensioner Concession Card, a valid Health Care Card or a valid Commonwealth Seniors Health Card
Nil

Band 2

  • People not holding a valid Pensioner Concession Card, a valid Health Care Card or a valid Commonwealth Seniors Health Card
Minor Repair: Nil
Major Repair prescribed in amputee clinic: 15% of the cost up to a maximum or $200 per financial year
