Temporary disruption to consumable orders and delivery times
Published: 07 Sep 2026Due to a planned system upgrade on 28 September 2026 to 5 October 2026, the EnableNSW team will not be able to place consumable orders, including for continence, Home Enteral Nutrition (HEN) and respiratory items using our standard processes. Special arrangements will be made for urgent orders that affect patient care and safety, including for individuals whose clinical needs have changed.
How to plan ahead
To ensure continuity of care, we urge patients to order a sufficient supply of consumables as soon as possible to meet their needs through to the end of October 2026.
We want to minimise the risk of patients running low on essential consumables during the months of September and October.
While the transition is only planned between 28 September to 5 October 2026, we expect additional pressures on the system in the lead-up to, and following the transition, which means processing and delivery delays should be expected Mid-September until the end of October.
