Information for older people

The Australian Government is delivering a reformed in-home aged care program to help older people remain healthy, active and socially connected to their community. A key component of these reforms is exploring a 12-month trial with NSW Health (EnableNSW). You can learn more about this on the Assistive Technologies and Home Modifications Scheme for in-home aged care.

As an older person living in the community and eligible for this trial, we are pleased to be supporting you with access to clinically appropriate loaned equipment to keep you safe at home, as well as repairs to your equipment and collection when you no longer need it.

About EnableNSW

EnableNSW provides assistive technology and related services to people in NSW with specific, short term or ongoing health needs to assist them to live safely at home. Financial assistance is also available for people who need to travel significant distances to access specialist medical treatment which is not available locally.

The EnableNSW team is based in St Leonards and Homebush, New South Wales. Service Centre officers receive thorough, ongoing training to ensure they provide the highest standard of service.
