EnableNSW does not provide the following:

  • First set of compression garments or garments for trial
  • Compression garments for acute treatment e.g. burns patients or post-surgical garments
  • Compression garments for dependent oedema
  • Compression garments for short term management
  • Compression garments for varicose veins or post-acute/outpatient care
  • Pneumatic / electrical air compression pumps and associated accessories or liners
  • Donning aids
  • Products to secure compression garments e.g glue, tape
  • Structural therapy garments, hernia supports
  • Therapy splints
  • Anti-embolic stockings
  • Garments where the annual cost is less than $100 for band 1-2 consumers or less than $800 for band 3 consumers

EnableNSW provides assistive technology and related services to people in NSW with specific, short term or ongoing health needs to assist them to live safely at home. Financial assistance is also available for people who need to travel significant distances to access specialist medical treatment which is not available locally.

The EnableNSW team is based in St Leonards and Homebush, New South Wales. Service Centre officers receive thorough, ongoing training to ensure they provide the highest standard of service.
